How it works?
An advanced laser creates a beam of high-intensity light that penetrates the skin; this helps to enhance the natural collagen in your skin and hardens the facial contours. Fine lines vanish and deeply embedded lines are strikingly reduced leaving you with smoother, younger looking skin.
Soprano skin tightening is a minimally-invasive, cost effective way to give you firmer, younger- looking skin. The procedure is frequently used for toning thin, loose and crepe-like skin often found on the ageing face, neck, tummy, thighs and upper arms. It is also excellent for firming skin on the post-surgical or postnatal abdomen, chest, thighs or breasts. By heating the fatty layer, this encourages the drainage of trapped toxins that cause cellulite on our body. This can help improve the appearance of cellulite whilst tightening the skin.

It can be used for most body areas where tighter skin is desired, reducing the signs of ageing. It is commonly used for the face, neck and décolleté, upper arms, abdomen, buttocks and hands.
Just prior to the treatment protective eye wear will be provided and a cool gel will be applied to the area to be treated. The Soprano Near-Infrared (NIR) hand piece is then passed over the treatment area in a sweeping motion. During the treatment the skin temperature of the treated area will be closely monitored with a special infrared thermometer to ensure that your skin is receiving a sufficient level of heat necessary to warm up the water content of your skin and stimulate collagen production.
During the skin tightening treatment, you will feel a warm sensation as the infrared energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin. While the infrared energy is heating the dermis, continuous contact cooling is keeping the skin’s outer layer cool and comfortable. The treatment is generally considered by most to be ‘near’ painless, with only a warm sensation or feeling of heat felt during the treatment.
The treatment typically takes 20-30 minutes depending on the body area being treated.
After your treatment, you can expect the treated area to be slightly flushed. For most patients this normally subsides within a few hours, although for some it may last for 24 hours. Make up can be applied after the treatment and generally you can go back to work or to other activities without any recovery time.
Yes, our laser is carried out by an experienced laser practitioner after a health and safety consultation.
Because the treatment involves heating your skin to a relatively high temperature, you should expect some redness afterwards. You may also have some mild swelling, but this and the redness should settle down within a few hours (24 hours at most). Other than this, there is no downtime and you can continue with your day immediately after treatment.
Immediately! Results will hold instantly for up to a week however for long term collagen stimulation and long term results a course of around 5 treatments are recommended.
No, this is a very comfortable and relaxing experience. A gentle heat is all you will feel being passed over the skin.

Multiple treatments are required depending on your skin’s laxity, the area to be treated and the results you desire. Typically a course of up to six treatments is recommended at 3-4 week intervals. The complex process of new collagen formation means that the results will continue to improve and develop for up to 6 months after completion of your treatment course. Due to the continual ageing process, results typically last 1-2 years, however, we recommend that you have a maintenance treatment once or twice a year to maintain the stimulation of your collagens reproduction.
The effectiveness of laser Skin Tightening treatments is dependent on the characteristics and severity of your loose skin. Laser Skin Tightening works best if you have mild to moderate laxity and sagging in the cheek, jawline and/or neck and mild looseness with minimal stretch marks on your abdomen. Patients between 30 and 65 are generally good candidates for this type of procedure.
If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, have taken Roaccutane in the past 6 months or you are taking any photosensitising medication you should not receive laser treatment.
