We respect your time and appreciate your choice to spend it with Pearl Skin Clinic.  We’ve created our Cancellation Policy to provide the utmost versatility and convenience to our clients. Booking an appointment is your acceptance of our Cancellation Policy therefore, please be certain you’ve reviewed and agreed to these terms.

APPOINTMENTS

Please note that it is your responsibility to remember your appointments and to arrive 10 minutes prior ready for your treatment. Appointments cards can be given at the clinic if requested to remind you of your appointments and please set appointment reminders on your mobile phones. This is a courtesy request to all clients to ensure appointments are not missed and to help with your busy schedule.

If you are unsure of your appointment, please call us immediately so we can check your appointment for you.

Please note that if you arrive 15 minutes later or more to your appointment, it will be treated as a no show and you will lose a session.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to the nature of our business, we have a strict cancellation policy. Please ensure you read and understand our cancellation policy.

All new clients should arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time in order to complete consultation paperwork.

A session will be redeemed, or a charge will be applicable for candidates who do not provide 48 hours notice. Depending on whether you are on a course of treatments or purchasing a single session:

  • If you give 48 hours notice no penalty will be incurred.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours or do not show up for your booked appointment, then you will lose that session.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Please notify us before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, pregnant or have developed Covid related symptoms, have been in contact with anyone tested positive for Covid or isolating.

Appointments can ONLY be changed, rescheduled or cancelled via a phone call or WhatsApp message.

REFUND POLICY

Please note that we do not offer refunds on any treatments received or products used. However, if you change your mind about a purchased treatment within 14 days and no sessions have been redeemed, we are happy to exchange it for another treatment or product or offer you a credit note. If for any medical reason you are advised not to continue with your course of treatments, please obtain a medical record report from your doctor.

PAYMENT POLICY

Pricing of products and services are subject to change at any time without any prior warning or notices.

Treatment prices may vary from client to client based on individual programs and recommendations of product or service tailored for specific needs.

When purchasing a pre-paid treatment program, clients may receive further discount/savings, as such the payment for the program must be made in full prior to first treatment. The client hereby acknowledges that the fee for pre-paid packages is non-refundable in part or whole, including in the event that a client circumstances change, the client is unable to attend or opts to discontinue the treatment.

Correct payment must be received before treatments start at each booked appointment. This is generally in full or can be via our finance option. If you refuse to pay in advance, we have the right to refuse to treat you. Instalments must be paid at correct intervals, which is first part at your consultation/first treatment, second on your second treatment and third on your third treatment. A two-part instalment can only be applied for treatments over £500, and a three-part instalment option is applicable for treatment courses over £1000. If undertaking our finance option, a deposit of 10-20% must be taken prior to the commencement of treatment.

Treatment programs cannot be shared and are non transferable in part or whole to other individuals.

All pre-paid treatments have an expiry, which is not extendable and commences from date of purchase. Laser Hair Removal pre-pay of six treatments have an 12 months expiry. 

Laser hair removal  pre-pay of 10 treatments have a 18 months expiry. Laser hair removal pre-pays of less than six treatments have a 12-month expiry.

All single and packages for skin treatments have a 12-month expiry.

A treatment consultation is required before the first session. If a treatment purchase is made prior to having a consultation, we may agree to transfer to another alternate treatment of equal value to what has been purchased, if at consultation it is determined that another treatment is more suitable. No refunds will be issued, only a transfer to a more appropriate treatment.

Treatments may require purchasing of additional products and/or treatments to support the skin during treatment and obtain optimum results, advice will be provided at consultation.

PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

At our discretion, promotional prices will be offered on selected treatments. The following terms and conditions apply to promotional purchases:

Promotions are valid for a limited time only and can only be purchased during this time period and no extensions will be granted If you have been quoted a price during a promotional period and choose not to accept, we reserve the right not to honour that quote once it has expired.

Promotional items adhere to our cancellation & refund policy along with expiry & treatment program terms and conditions.

Promotions which include multiple treatment/s or area/s must be redeemed together and cannot be split up.

MAKE UP

Please be advised that make-up, deodorant, perfume, and oil-based products must be removed prior to treatments. Practitioners will cleanse the area. However, we cannot be held responsible for all of the above products that may lay dormant in the skin pores and can cause an adverse reaction.

SHAVING

All areas you wish to receive Laser Hair Removal on MUST be shaved before your appointment. The area MUST be free of stubble. We recommend shaving at most 24 hours before your appointment. Please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse to accommodate your scheduled appointment if you are not prepared.

MEDICINES & HEALTH

Please be advised that by taking certain medications, you may not be a qualified candidate for Laser Hair Removal.

NOTE: It is your responsibility to inform us either in person or via phone, prior to your appointment if you are taking any prescribed medication to confirm if you may be treated for Laser Hair Removal. Failure to do so before booked appointment will be treated like a cancellation without notice and a loss of pre-paid session will occur. CALL US to ask  questions about the medication you are taking.

IMPORTANT: Please try to avoid booking your appointment in conflict with your menstrual cycle if you will be receiving Hollywood, Bikini or Brazilian Laser Hair Removal.

TANNING

In the event that you do go on vacation or are exposed to the sun resulting in a tan, you MUST wait at least 2-4 weeks to receive laser hair removal. We cannot do your treatment  if your skin is darker than your natural skin tone as there is a risk of burning of the skin if treated. Even though the laser machine we use is suitable for sun tanned skin too. We will not take any risks and want to ensure all laser treatments are carried out safely.

Failure to comply to these safety regulations will result in the loss of your session.

POLICY ON CHILDREN

We regret that we are unable to allow children to remain unaccompanied in the reception area. Our Front of House staff are neither trained nor insured to look after children, and we respectfully ask our clients to refrain from asking our receptionist to watch their children during treatments.
For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the treatment rooms at any time.

PRACTITIONERS

While we will make every effort to meet your request, we cannot guarantee a specific practitioner. All practitioners are trained in all undertaken treatments and protocols to ensure your comfort and treatment efficacy at all times.

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCE & TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY

On rare occasion maintenance or technical fault, through no fault of our own may be required. In the event of such unforeseen circumstances, appointments may be delayed or rescheduled without prior notice. We address such circumstances as quickly as possible and ensure optimal safety and efficacy of equipment before resuming normal operations. We endeavour to provide services as planned and execute a number of alternate options before resorting to changing your appointments. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

LIABILITY POLICY

Pearl Skin Clinic will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she provide us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Pearl Skin Clinic regarding the care of a treated area.

COMPLAINT POLICY

We aim to provide the best possible service and care to you when delivering a consultation or treatment.

In the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of the service provided, you should speak to the appropriate clinic manager or their designated deputy as soon as possible.
